Golf Courses LISBOA - Ribagolfe II - Presentation
The design of this course was assigned to another former European Tour player, Michael King, again under the expert supervision of European Golf Design. This is again the same type of environment with a lot of cork oak-trees, and while the style is more British than American (like the Blue Course), there is still a certain feeling of uniformity, maybe due primarity to the type of vegetation. This course is intended more for members, which explains why the yardage and the width of fairways are much more reasonable. The green are pretty huge and moderately contoured, but their lines of defence are perhaps not spectacular enough to scare the more accurate players. Water hazards are in play only on two holes, which again adds to the cool comfort of a peaceful day spent golfing with friends. Other hazards like little dales threaten the tee shot on the par 3 holes and add a little spice. A serious piece of golf with excellent green-keeping to match.
